There's so much movement in the dev AI tooling space, it's hard to figure out where we should be focused. Claude Code, Cursor, Warp terminal 2.0 (my fav rn), and yet Docker's building tooling that might not cover every AI use case yet, but they've come quite far in 2025.

My Next course!

Friendly reminder that I'm creating GitHub Actions courses and will soon offer early access and other special things to those on the course waitlist. Honestly, I'd just put all the course stuff in this newsletter, but I didn't want to turn my free newsletter into a heavy sales-y thing, so ya gotta signup for this other low-frequency email list to get course updates, coupons, free lectures, etc.

👩‍💻 Is Docker Building the Best AI Stack?: Podcast Audio or YouTube Video

Our Docker Captain Trilogy is Back (Michael, Nirmal, and me)! Docker has released so many tools and features this year, it’s hard to keep up! Michael Irwin, a Docker Captain Alumni and Principal Software Engineer at Docker, joins Nirmal and me in this episode to break down everything I’ve been covering the last four months and to go deep with how it’s all coming together.

Let’s just list the crazy launch list: Gordon AI, Docker Model Runner, Docker Model Hub, MCP Toolkit, MCP Catalog, MCP Gateway, Hub MCP Server, Compose Model support, Compose MCP support, and others I’m probably forgetting. The big question now is, how do we use all this together to accelerate our workflows?
